Chinese Surrealism: Seasons

I developed this quartet of watercolour paintings as part of the group show, Chinese Surrealism at Alisan Fine Arts. The quartet is a response to the theme of surrealism and blends elements of Joan Miró's paintings, while depicting each of the four seasons, pairing a dream interpretation of each seasonal plant (the Four Gentlemen in Chinese tradition), with a symbolic creature.
