My training in archiving began at Asia Art Archive where I worked for nearly 5 years as a Collections Assistant, with a focus on South and Southeast Asian Research Collection digital archives. The process of archiving includes the scoping of the project, research, the digitisation of the material, complete cataloging, and the presentation and activation of the archive with a narrative approach.
Since the passing of my mother and the our immigration to London, I have been steadily archiving my family history via oral histories, and digitisation of the 7000+ photographs, documents, and videos.
This daily practice of archiving, of researching and preserving history laid the foundation of my own artistic and writing practice.
